My wife and I first tried Ru Sans one evening and thought the designs of the sushi were so different and unique in how they are each plated. The service was great too, but a little busy so we didn’t have necessarily a one on one experience. However, that doesn’t mean the 5 stars go any less. Food was awesome! Great atmosphere too. A place that obviously tends to get lots of business. The second and third and remainder time we have been there has been for the lunch buffet which honestly- is the greatest deal. For roughly around 11 dollars a person, you get all you can eat sushi. Our waitress (Kristin, or Christina- we forgot!! )Was wonderful! She was kind and had a great personality and really took care of us and made sure we had enough to drink, etc. They constantly rotate and replace sushi so you know each piece you get is fresh. Wonderful place with terrific atmosphere and sushi.
I took the recommendations of others and opted for the Godzilla specialRoll. Absolutely freaking delicious; 10/10. The tempura was divine, as was the sauce, as was the filling. All of it. Their fried chicken dumplings were tasty too – I prefer mine to be crunchier than the ones they served, but they were delightfully flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the Classic Spicy Eel and Spicy Yellowtail rolls. I thought they seemed a bit skimpy on the rice and not spicy at all, but the fish and eel themselves were tender and plentiful. The food did come out quickly, so we were pleased with that. And the hot sake was pretty good, even though I don’t like sake all that much. Recommended.
